Who Benefits?

 The Orphan:

Immediate crisis needs will be targeted and met in a timely manner.

Access to better health care and relief work specific to their situation.

Chances of adoption increase with visibility of orphans through relationships with the local church and community networks.

Chances for orphans to integrate into local community and local church increases due to the accountability of a partnership. This also helps the problem of "aging out" of the system when they already have local church/community support and the need is known.

The Gospel will not only be heard, but seen through a real and lasting relationship with a local church.

The orphan could also have a better opportunity to receive an education once their needs are made visible and churches and communities come together to meet the needs, build relationships, advance creative solutions and begin to help those get a better education simply because of those ongoing relationships.

Church/Pastors/Partners:

POP brings a focused, step by step strategy to equip the church to engage in a long term, effective orphan ministry.

Clear steps to reach orphans locally/globally and practical ways to engage the congregation in the vision.

Pastors, staff members and/or lay leaders can be trained for effective orphan ministry depending on the preference of each church.
The church will be mobilized to effectively minister to foster children and/or orphans through an existing relationship (Plan A) or through a POP Partner provided (Plan B).

Your church/community is engaged in effective orphan ministry, accomplishing the Biblical mandate, so everyone wins. Prov.22:9, James 1:27, Prov. 31:8-9, Prov. 29:7
